Before arriving to charity school we would like everyone to follow these pre-screening for check your child for covid-19 symptoms before they leave the house for school if a student exhibit one or more of the following symptoms they must stay home from school and these are symptoms we would like you to look for a fever equal to or greater than 100.4 a new car or and or diarrhea or vomiting kindergarten and first grade gate and right by the office will be the second third and fourth grade gate this may change depending on the number of students we have that enrolled Gates will open at 7:30 a.m. with a school start time students will be dismissed Gates that they enter campus from dismissal for kindergarten will be at 11 a.m. first grade through third grade will be 12 p.m. and 4th grade through 6th grade will be 12:10 p.m. the gates will have colored code symbols for the students as well and they do stay which grade in which case there will be staff members at each gate as well so again Pals will be the Blue Gate which is over by the kindergarten rooms Kinder first grade will be the Red Gate which is right by the second third and fourth grade will be the brown gate by the office insist and sixth grade will be on Cherry leaves once on campus we do have procedures to keep students socially distant for students in 4th 5th and 6th grade who have classrooms upstairs the East stairs will be the going upstairs and the West stairs will be the going downstairs when arriving at cherrylee every student and employee must be wearing a facemask we will have temperature checks before entering campus in the gate at the Student Center campus through they will also exit from all students ages 2 and up and staff members are required to wear face covering throughout the instructional day there will be temperature check stations by each gate if a student has an elevated temperature students will go to the office or the temperature will be taken again to be confirmed and if it is still elevated will be notified hey now to discuss our School Readiness the district and staff has working really hard to prepare Terry Lee for students and staff returned one of the things that we also asked for some help from parents and families at home before leaving your house make sure you have the essential are masks water bottle books and materials for learning the laptop and charger but just in case we do ask that laptops are charged at night coming to school ready to turn on the computer and start learning so we do ask if that happens the night before on-campus face coverings are required all students preschool through sixth grade and staff members are required to wear face coverings throughout the instructional bags and school now we gone to School Readiness 100% of classrooms have hand-washing stations along with that they are fully stocked with soap water and paper towels washing your hands is key hand-washing is proven to help limit the spread of germs Cheerilee has installed three hand washing stations across the campus they have about four to six actual hand washing stations per unit and those are located if you look at our map they're located right by the 4th 5th and 6th grade boys restroom right behind her kitchen which is facing a playground area and we've also installed one in the kindergarten play yard we also recommend that all students washed her hands for a minimum of 20 seconds sure that all the germs are washed away School Readiness so schools have water fountain shut down due to the pandemic The Watersons are regular flushed out to ensure safety of use post-pandemic so in order to supply students with water Charlie hasn't * 3 touches water bottle filler Hydration Stations installed across the school and it's purified and chilled water that's how we also encourage students to bring their own water bottle so we can refill it here at school now another concern was stream usage I'm so the staff got together but we'll need to keep social. and we're fortunate enough to actually have I'm restrooms in the kindergarten room so our classrooms so. will be spaced out and it's equipped with actually sneeze guards or death Shields and they are at least six feet apart as you can tell in these pictures these are actually are learning pod they've been open since October and Dave work very well with our students each classroom at the sink. With soap and paper towels extra Furniture has been removed from each of the classroom to accommodate social distancing another way that Terry Lee has been made ready for students and staff return is by adding a air pure fires to the classrooms so these are portable high efficiency air cleaner machine purchase as part of the district's School reopening plants and of course she wants assist with indoor air quality we want to make sure that everyone knows that every classroom has an air purifier now these air purifiers are medical grade they can clean the air and an indoor space four times an hour you can take a look at the chart as a blue and white aren't there that we are using an h13 filter as opposed to other filters these filters in particular teeth out all bacteria virus carrier and tobacco smoke now they do have child locks because these filter will be in the classroom so there are child locks on them they're also let us know that the vultures will indicate when they he replaced mixing of students maintaining current instructional minutes minimizing the need to re roster students daily check in with all students in the morning and afternoon daily virtual English language development add academic language development and small group instruction so we have a staggered reopening timeline so April 19th we're going to start off with Pals transitional kindergarten kindergarten first second and third grade Sol on April 15th and April 16th students will do a synchronous work till allowed teachers working in class April 6 will be 4th and 5th and 6th grade and they were on April 22nd and April 23rd students will do a synchronous work to allow teachers to work in their class we also have head start preschool and we do have an Ana Heredia here for our preschool yes go ahead and it's ready but I don't know what happened to my camera that I cannot turn it on but the in-person class for Head Start will be begin on April 26th story will be in attendance 2 days a week we only holding I-80 infection will be from 8:15 to 11:15 a.m. breakfast and lunch will be provided we also will be providing individual materials for the children inside and outside the our in person and then we also have another group called booby and those are at home I'm distance learning so on Monday students will be in person so transitional kindergarten kindergarten it will begin go from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. 1st through 3rd will go from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. 4 through 6 will go from 8 a.m. to 12:10 these are students are face-to-face instruction with their teachers it also includes a 20-minute staggered Reese's break in place and it also means that grade levels or shouldn't Bruins will go at certain times that we don't have a lot of kids out in the in the playground so how the Reese's will be staggered will also depend on the number of students that attend in person learning our dismissal time will be for transitional kindergarten kindergarten be at 11 a.m. 10:20 to 11:20 so again this is when they breed they finish up classes I meant read or log into a sign all night work from my ready ST Math BrainPOP nearpod Discovery Ed our Mystery Science so on Thursday this is when they have live interactive instruction with their teacher at home they will login from 8 to 11 tk2 and kindergarten grades one through 3rd will go from 8 a.m. to 12 grades 4 through 6 will go from 8 to 12:10 then in the afternoon. here on Monday and Tuesday and those kids they stay in the same desk with the same classroom in the same teacher so your GF oggins one the week depending on the traffic but like I said the same kids on the same same Des unless there is that covid case then we fog it thoroughly that same day but it's usually on Wednesdays and for the combo class will the group a b split up my grades now they both of the if you're up for the combo class the 5th and 6th grade called they will not be split up by grades they'll stay with the same teacher okay are the sixth graders will they be having a promotion this year that still tentative or still in discussions about that so look for my updates on that and it all depends on what year were in that office I have a question when you say fog once a week is fognini like this infected the classroom is it right now there's no students and that's a video file can we do a deep clean up but I showed a video on how it's fogged and our presentation so it all depends on how what would freaking if there's a cover case that will fog that same day but usually it's once a week because they're only here two days a week I thought maybe it would be fogged everyday that the kids are in class they deep cleanings done everyday and are the Seals going to be cleaned daily when the kids are in question that she has to be clean when the kids are just missed hand sanitizers were also given in face mask and we also have disposable face next if a child ever forgets to wear their face masks and they're at the entry gate we have disposable ones also. considerations for IEP students on same as a hazard so they'll get in-person instruction those two days and I will work with RIPT shirts to see how else we can help I'm Anakin can we send her with a face shield or an extra face mask is not and I would recommend an extra face masks in their backpack just in case but like I said we had every classroom is equipped with disposable child's face mask along with that are the kids going to eat lunch in the cafeteria is all grab-and-go so as soon as they get this blacks will be in the book send it in the classroom and then they'll get this mess with taxi grab-and-go so they will have to eat it at home that's how we're also not serving any breakfast in the classroom this year for the students have to eat before they come to school bastian's take their personal devices to school I E phones or tablets they can but they do have to be turned off in their backpack cuz all our students use Chromebooks so that is what they should be using in the classroom so that they can take their phone and their iPods is not as it's all turned off and in their backpack if we go in person is there a way to go back to Justice learning if we decide that in person isn't for us yes that would be easy going from this concerning back home the hard part is going from dissing starting to school because of we've already we have the numbers and setting up so it would be an influx of students to be able to accommodate in person in person night that's the reason why we're standing commitment forms home just to make sure that we have everything in place when students show up my child does not have a school Chromebook and she bring her own laptop I'm yes you can if you if you would like to but once again the schools are responsible responsible for that but if you would like to check out come back to call the office and then we'll be able to help you with that house will also have no meals at school has a little bit different so you would have to call
