EMCSD partners with Kaiser Baldwin Park for new medical mentorship program

We have added a new partner to continue elevating our educational offerings to students. Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center is bringing its Hipporcrates Circles Program (HCP) to three EMCSD schools this Spring, connecting 7th and 8th graders directly with medical professionals to provide meaningful mentorship to students. EMCSD Opens New Early Learning Center

El Monte City School District (EMCSD) celebrated the opening of their new Early Childhood Learning Center at Cortada School. As part of a series of renovations and upgrades across the district, EMCSD held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and invited the community to tour the new Head Start space before students officially entered their classrooms. Big Sing kicks off performance season for EMCSD

Choir students from all 14 El Monte City School District (EMCSD) schools performed an array of songs in front of a packed Durfee Gymnasium, signalling the start of EMCSD’s award-winning musical performance season. Since Southern California’s first school was constructed here in 1852, El Monte has honored the education of its children and has grown into a thriving community of fourteen schools, which incudes five California Distinguished Schools and six ERP Honor Roll Schools, all dedicated to preparing our students for the challenge of a 21st century education.
