On Thursday, May 13, the CDC issued new guidance regarding mask wearing for vaccinated people, stating fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask. El Monte City School District must still follow state and county mask guidelines, which still require mask wearing at EMCSD campuses. Click headline for full update from the District.

The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health hosted a Town Hall for Parents to discuss the FDA's approval of the Pfizer vaccine for 12-15 year olds. The town hall was held on Tuesday, May May 18 at 6:00pm. Please click headline for details on how to watch the Town Hall.
