Musical Theater
In the summer of 2017, we launched our musical theater program throughout the district that feature performances from timeless classics like Annie, The Lion King Little Mermaid, High School Musical and much more.
Visual Arts are explored through scenery, costume design, poster creation, and more. Music is studied and sung to tell a story. Aural learners will savor the rhythms and melodies inherent to this project-based learning. Dance is brought to life through the show’s choreography. Drama is investigated through character work and storytelling skills. Linguistic and interpersonal learners will embrace the written word and collaborative process. Students will be involved in a complete musical theater experience culminating in a performance open to parents and the community.
